Gregory E. Kliot, MD, FACOG, FACS

Dr. Gregory Kliot is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist with over 20 years of experience. He graduated from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, and is a Fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists (F.A.C.O.G.) and the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.), making him well qualified to treat your High & Low Risk Obstetrical, Gynecological and Gynecologic Surgery needs.

His commitment to the field has been exemplified by his dedication to Resident Education and the training of future physicians. Over the years he has been recognized in many ways, including becoming a Clinical Asst. Professor at S.U.N.Y.-Downstate Medical Center, and being awarded “Attending of the Year” & “Best Teacher” locally, and the “National Faculty Award for Excellence in Resident Education” from the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics & Gynecology.

Dr. Kliot is also recognized in his profession as Vice Chairman of the Brooklyn & Staten Island Section of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, and as a member of the Executive Council of the Brooklyn Gynecological Society. He also works to help make the Hospitals he admits patients to the best in New York by serving on hospital committees focused on improving patient care, including Quality Assurance committees at Hospitals & Insurance Companies.

Gregory E. Kliot, MD, FACOG, FACS has followed in his father’s footsteps in his commitment to providing excellent woman-centered care. Dr. Kliot provides full scope Ob/Gyn services from pre- to post-menopause.

His gynecologic expertise includes abnormal bleeding, infertility, fibroids, pelvic pain, menstrual disorders, cysts, urinary incontinence, & more. He is well versed in both conservative/medical management & advanced surgical techniques such as minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopy & hysteroscopy. He works with each patient to provide the treatment that fits
her the best.

He supports a woman’s right to choose VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean), vaginal twin delivery, expectant management of labor, and the use of alternative modalities throughout pregnancy under the guidance of experienced licensed practitioners.
